If you have a strong ego, you are less likely to have a mental breakdown because you feel like you are always in controll and nothing gets you down. 3 months ago Thanks!

- Chosen by Voters It could be because of your overdose, that maybe that could have affected your memory. Or maybe, if they did not wean you off the medicine, you might be going through withdrawls, causing you to possibly have troubles with your memory. Maybe you are repeating things to her, from time to time, but don't remember. So she asks, how is your memory. Just ask her about it the next time you see her. 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

- Chosen by Voters Hey sweetie, No progress will be made unless you are really honest with how you feel…I think it's a great idea to write them down, then they are catagorized and you won't be missing anything out. Most Mental Health Nurses are sympathetic/understanding, you kinda have to be for that job :0)If she's any good she will understand why you've had to write things down, and will probably find her job easier if you do, as she will know exactly what help you need.I think you should hold your head high and be proud you've made the first, of many big steps in helping to control/understand your situation.Good luck xx 4 years ago 25% 2 Votes 3 people rated this as good

- Chosen by Voters First off, please do not harm yourself. What you do is go to an emergency room (I know that probably sounds intimidating) and they will have somebody come talk to you and decide if you need to be admitted or need outpatient counseling or whatnot. (Our hospital has a behavioral health unit, I assume most do). 2 years ago 67% 2 Votes

Firstly Billy, that's very nice of you to try to find some support for your friend -I'm sure she's very grateful that you took the time to help.Secondly, for anyone living in the Gwent area there is the South Wales Mental Health Advocacy (SWMHA). They are based in Cardiff but they have advocates working in all areas of South Wales. These are a MUCH better option than Newport Mind who I would advice patients to avoid for reasons that will soon be exposed but for today just trust me. The phone number of SWMHA is: 029 20 62 57 77 you can also email them at: office@swmha.fsnet.co.ukThese are office numbers of other SWMHA officesBridgend: 01656 753925Caerphilly: 01495 229534Blaenau Gwent: 01495 755229Torfaen: 01495 755501Swansea:01792 516665 4 years ago Thanks Kitty,Yes I have heard bad tales of Newport Mind too which make me wonder of their usefulness

..Mental disorders are of major public health significance. It has been claimed that vigorous physical activity has positive effects on mental health in both clinical and nonclinical populations. The strongest evidence suggests that physical activity and exercise probably alleviate some symptoms associated with mild to moderate depression. The evidence also suggests that physical activity and exercise might provide a beneficial adjunct for alcoholism and substance abuse programs; improve self-image, social skills, and cognitive functioning; reduce the symptoms of anxiety; and alter aspects of coronary-prone (Type A) behavior and physiological response to stressors. The effects of physical activity and exercise on mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, and other aspects of mental health are not known. Negative psychological effects from exercise have also been reported. … 1 year ago Thank you!

- Chosen by Voters I will assume that you want to look nice, if you don't maybe you do have issues. But the thing to do would be to have a breast "reduction". Speak to a doctor and think over your reasons because I will bet you will not find a doctor who will perform a masectomy on healthy breasts, but just might go for the reduction. 4 years ago 67% 2 Votes 2 people rated this as good
