- Chosen by Voters I think he means when Artest grabbed JJ's face, in game 3.And don't pretend that a frustration foul is anything more, if that's too manly for you, find a no-contact sport, because in basketball, people gonna hit, dig, and tackle each other occasionally. Nothing to get all bend out of shape over(in the 80s, and 90s this happened a lot more). Edited 8 months ago 67% 2 Votes

- Chosen by Voters I hope this will help stressed out lady! It's my favorite poem. It was written by Marianne Williamson"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others".Also check out this site: http://www.prayers.org/viewprayer.asp?id… Source(s): A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson 4 years ago 100% 1 Vote 1 person rated this as good

- Chosen by Voters It would be a good idea to go to your local Social Security Office to see if you qualify for State or Federal assistance. Your local Mental Health Center probably uses a sliding scale based on what you can or cannot afford. I hope you will get the help you want. Good Luck. 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

There was a terrible case here where a single father of an 8 year old girl went continually to mental health services for help. He pleaded with them to give him help, that he felt out of control and stressed beyond what was reasonable. Because of budget cuts he was turned down for services, they told him he didn't qualify. With no family to turn to for help he became more and more isolated, sinking deeply into mental illness. Tragically they found him and his daughter both dead in their home. Murder suicide. What is only dollars and cents to some is life and death to others. We as people must learn to better prioritize funds. 1 year ago 2 people rated this as good .

- Chosen by Voters Recovery approaches generally have to do with helping a person address an addictive behavior. Part of recovering from substance abuse has to do with changing one's thinking around the role that the substance filled in a person's life. This often requires a series of changes in other areas of the person's life. However, this is not the same process or treatment plan that would be used for say depression or anxiety. The recovery approach is not a universal model. For example, a person who has experienced abuse or trauma may be re-traumatized by the recovery model which often has the person admitting their responsibility for the addiction and making amends. In helping a person deal with a trauma the therapist often helps the victim to acknowledge that they are not responsible for the problem. 6 years ago 100% 1 Vote

- Chosen by Voters If you're asking for free services, I am extremely surprised! If you have insurance, then you could get any sort of stuff. But if you don't have insurance and aren't paying income taxes, then there is real services I can suggest. However there are free clinics available that could help you, but I unfortunately do not know of any specific ones. See if you can find any free clinic–you might be successful.I know people who are illegal immigrants who receive mental health services. I believe they may be free, but they could be paying out of pocket.I wish you the best of luck, but do not expect legal citizens (many of whom are immigrants) to be OK with you getting free services. 11 months ago 100% 1 Vote

This is from the articles I seen earlier…Ron Artest finally won a title in June after 11 regular seasons of trying … and now he's planning to sell the championship ring as a fundraiser to put more psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists in schools.Ron, "I'm never going to put it on."Ron, "You work so hard to get a ring, and now you have a chance to help more people than just yourself, instead of just satisfying yourself," he said. "What's better than that? For me, this is very important."______My Thoughts…The 1st thing that came to mind when I seen a question about it yesterday..He won a championship-no one can take that from him, he's doing it for a good cause, and he's proving material things are NOT important..It's who you are inside. Ron has made many mistakes, but he's changing and none of us are perfect. So, as a Lakers fan..I think it's his-he can do what he wants with it and it's for a good cause. Others have stated he could have just wrote a check..But, he won this..This is a sentimental piece of what he always wanted..Now, he chooses to use it for a good cause and let it go. I think it's great!!!!!! He could just write a check but the ring has symbolic and sentimental value for athletes so him giving it away is not as easy as one answerer stated. I was a Laker fan but lost interest because of the selfishness of Shaq and Kobe but now I'm a fan again.

Once you are finished your business degree you may be able to do a 1 year Masters degree in Social Sciences or Psycology. I actually attended my local University to visit a class run by students who were finishing Clinical Psycology degrees and it was very helpful. If I were you I'd get advice from the University councellors who can point you in the right direction of what courses are available…good luck. 4 years ago Thanks!
