- Chosen by Voters I like how religious clergy use love, comapssion, empathy, and non judmental attitudes upon the mentally I'll. It is much more effective than how the medical field treats them. 1 year ago 100% 1 Vote 1 person rated this as good

- Chosen by Voters I've been to both. The childrens' is definitely nicer. The people who work in the mental one are very strict on you and don't let you have very much stuff. They are afraid you're going to kill yourself with them. They took my lace-less shoes away from me…Besides, all of the crazy people like me are in the mental health one. 2 years ago 67% 2 Votes 1 person rated this as good

No, it's not a good thing for your son to do. I've heard too many stories about kids who torture insects, then progress into torturing animals, and you know what comes after that. Torture is torture and you need to stop this behavior before it goes any further. There was a teenage kid in the city I live in who skinned a dog while the poor dog was alive. In court he admitted he began his tortures with insects. Sick person! He got some time in prison but as far as I'm concerned he should have gotten the death sentence. 7 months ago 1 person rated this as good thank you verry much

most of the time they sit around in the mental health clinic getting basic background info for soldiers seeing the shrink. honestly it depends on what kind of unit you're a part of. if you're part of a BSB, then you'll either be tagging along with the shrink as he makes his rounds to various bases to see who wants to talk, and when you're not doing that you'll be doing some remedial task like cq or whatever.if you're in a csh or other type of hospitol unit that does deploy, you'll sit in a nice air conditioned room/tent all day waiting for patients, most of which will be fobbits who feel that "their life is in mortal danger because the opposite end of the fob 2 miles away got mortared once last week!" just my own experience the soldiers that really have and do see stuff dont like to talk to those who havent about whatever they're feeling or going through Source(s): former medic 82nd airborne 2 years ago Thanks

I know in California we have programs for free mental health care, but it's handled under the county. Look in your phone book under the government pages. Check under county-Department of Health. You could also check your State of pages in case it's under that. If you can't find it under either one, call some Psychiatric offices. They usually have a referral number if anything is available in your area. I wish you the best of luck. 4 years ago Very informative. I googled my state's health dept and found lots of info. Thanks so much!
